Whether you’re a sun bather, exercise guru, or someone who just wants to relax for a week, below is a list of items we suggest packing to make your trip even more special
Snorkel, goggles, and fins: we spent countless hours swimming around the reefs off Baby Beach and the North Shore.. it was our favorite thing to do! While a snorkel is HIGHLY suggested, only pack fins if you plan to visit some deeper beaches on the island. You’ll thank us after experiencing some of the stronger currents. P.S, Amazon has some pretty great sets for cheap!
Hiking shoes: If you’re the type that likes to get some exercise in while being surrounded by some of the most beautiful views, definitely bring hiking shoes. There is over 100 trails on the island with hundreds of waterfalls to visit
Linen: Who wants to wear a suit in the middle of summer?? Not us. Pack some linen! Its light and will have you looking fabulous
Water shoes: We know, no one wants to be that person wearing water shoes at the beach, but we promise you’ll want some! Don’t worry, you can crop the photos afterwards

When you land in Maui, try not to let your jaw drop too quickly.. it may hurt. Once you can focus again, its now time to get yourself to Old Town! Lahaina is about a 40 minute drive from the airport. There are taxi’s available at the airport, Uber/Lyfts, as well as rental cars. If you plan on venturing out of Lahaina, we definitely recommend renting a car and hitting the Road to Hana or visiting the cutest little beach town, Paia

Maui has recently changed their definition of “Fully Vaccinated” to now incorporate the booster shot.
Vaccinated and Boosted: You do not have to worry about a quarantine period or providing a negative test to enter Maui. Just upload your vaccination status to the Safe Travels platform (https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/) or have it printed out in hand to show when you arrive.
Unvaccinated: You will have to provide a negative test 72 hours prior to landing in Maui, and are also subject to a possible quarantine period of 5 days. Upload your negative test result to their Safe Travels Platform (https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/) or you can print it out and provide a hard copy upon arriving.
